God of War Ragnarök

Premise

Former Spartan and his son, Atreus, travel through the Nine Realms of 

Norse mythology seeking answers about the boy's future as Loki and how to prevent the Ragnarok. As the father and son continue their journey, the forces of Asgard are preparing for war. While searching for Týr - the giant Norse God of War previously believed to be dead - they will have to face several new enemies and threats.

Kratos and Atreus are also pursued by the endless wrath of Thor, the enraged God of Thunder, and Freya, their former friend, both seeking vengeance for the deaths of their children caused by Kratos. With the Dawn of Gods getting nearer, they both have to decide what is more important: their own safety or the fate of all the realms.

Gameplay

GoW Ragnarok is the newest game in the God of War series, said to release in 2022. With Kratos as the main character, the player will again have the opportunity to express their inner god of war. The player will have such iconic weapons as Blades of Chaos or Leviathan Axe at their disposal to decimate numerous creatures, monsters and gods of Norse mythology. The single-player adventure features Kratos and his son Atreus on their quest for answers about the 'Loki' prophecy and his role in Ragnarok.

Seek the knowledge to help Atreus understand the 'Loki' prophecy and his role during the Ragnarok. Simultaneously Kratos will have to make a difficult decision - should he let his fear of making the same old mistakes win, or will he cut off the past and be the father Atreus needs?

Wield powerful weapons such as Blades of Chaos, Leviathan Axe, and many more to fight off gods and monsters from the Nine Realms.

Find allies and answers during the journey through the realms, fraught with dangerous foes from the Norse mythology, as well as stunningly beautiful landscapes. Explore the Nine Realms while progressing through the story to find hidden treasures and discover new locations leading to even more unlockables.

Be prepared to face off against many enemies, including monsters and creatures from all the realms. Additionally, come up against gods from the Norse pantheon such as Thor, the God of Thunder, or Freya, the Goddes of Fertility.
